Frequently Asked Questions
How does SampleSeek work?
SampleSeek analyses your audio at various pitches and speeds, helping music recognition services identify a match. Since music producers often adjust the tempo or pitch of samples, reversing these changes allows us to uncover the original track.
This process automates sample hunting by submitting the sample in different variations to music recognition services. All you have to do is sit back and wait for the results.
Is SampleSeek free to use?
Yes! SampleSeek is free to use during the beta phase.
Windows, or Mac?
Both!
What are the limitations?
To comply with music recognition service policies, your Seeker may take occasional breaks while searching for samples. The more complex your Seeker, the longer the process may take.
